April 22, 2009.

Whoa. I actually have time to do something recreative? Sweet!

So.. considering I'm one month away from being a senior, I've been thinking about college lately. Where I want to go, what I want to do, what the purpose of college even is.

I know most kids want to go to college to "get away" or "have more freedom" or.. if i may say so, party. But, that's definitely not why I'm stoked about college. So here are my reasons that I might soon begin my countdown to graduation:

1. I love to learn. I LOVE it. I think the education that God has made available to all of us is amazing and I want to get as much of it as I can. What will I major in, you might ask: Literature/Philosophy with a minor in Greek/Theology. YES.

2. I love where I live, I'm really blessed to live in a place as great as Greenville but.. I'm so ready to experience new places! That's why I want to go semi-far away, I want to see all of the world that I can. Study abroad is a must.

3. I'm excited to meet new people who are as fired up about God as I am.

4. Big cities and awesome concerts.. enough said.

5. The path to my career.. which, I'm not quite sure about but God's gonna lead me somewhere cool. I want to join an organization like the peace corp.

6. Mostly, I'm excited to see how God is going to grow me and make me more dependent on him as I'm "on my own" in a sense.

But of course, I am/must be content with where I am right now as God is growing me for college. I love the people and I love my family, I'm in no hurry to leave them. I'm just excited for the life more abundantly that God has promised!

First Timer. Gasp.

Hey Guys..

So blogspot.. this is pretty legit.
I'm Haley, and a whole bio about my life would be boring but I'm sure facts and figures will unwravel as I write.

I apologize beforehand for the rambling that will occur.
More later on the beautiful event today called Easter.

About Me

I enjoy reformed theology & philosophy, eventual Greek tattoos and indie music along with long walks in the mountains and sushi. Am I a walking cliche?
